What codec should i download for windows media player to play .mkv video files?
I was wondering if there is a codec for WMP to play .mkv files, cause I hate using VLC when playing .mkv movies, especially if it has subtitles. It crashes alot and does'nt display the subtitles correctly like, the text overlaps making it hard to read.
which one is better? the K-Lite or CCCP?
The Matroska (mkv) site has the info for playing in WMP and links for their codec:
