Where do department stores like Macys and Bloomingdales send shoes that do not sell at the end of th
I want to know where can i buy those shoes in bulk at a discount? I notice some people on ebay selling designer shoes for cheap. Also what about mismate shoes?
TJ Maxx, Marshalls, or Ross. They sell a lot of overstocked shoes and accessories. Anywhere from Roberto Cavalli to Jessica Simpson's.
Does anyone know what working in Women's Shoes at Macys entails?

I know a little as I was just hired by Macys West. The shoe dept is a base pay plus commissions (its 1% where I work). (I am not in shoes but my base is $9.00). You do need to do some tidying but there are people who do the heavy stocking. The hours are all over the map, and they rotate--but you have to work 3 weekends out of four (at my store), and can not take vacation any time after November (because of the holiday crush). Also you are required to open 2 new Macy's credit accounts a week/shift. It seems everyone I spoke with likes working at Macys. You get some pretty hefty discounts as well as 10% at Bloomies. They do train you & pay for the training as well. Good luck
Rocket Dog shoes. I was at Macys today and was going to buy a?
pair of yellow and a pair of black and green rocket dogs. BUT, I noticed alot of stitching coming off and looking under the insole it was all cardboard. Also, I could see the glue all around the shoes base. Is this normal for this brand? I want my shoes to last at LEAST a year with 1x a week use.
I get sucked in repeatedly by Rocket Dog's cute styles, but to be honest, they don't stand up all that well. You might try googling the style( or the colors and then searching for your shoes), if you can find them for cheaper, it may make their lack of sturdiness not sting so much.
