DO K/N performance air filters have a noticeable difference?
I was thinking about buying a K/N performance air filter for my 2007 Nissan Altima (2.5S, 4L). Am I going to see a noticeable difference in the way my car accelerates or drives? Is there any truth to the rumor that it also improves gas mileage? Please let me know. Thanks!

Which is the best hi-performance air filter k@n fram air hog or the green filters?

K&N is the original and the leader in performance air filters and they back their product with a million mile warranty. The rest are copy cats and some of them are cheaper made versions of K&N. Green Filters have fewer layers and they are made in France. Fram contracts out their version to several small manufacturers and the quality varies from what I've heard. The foam stuff may look good from the short demos they show but as these get loaded with dust they don't clog. That's why some dirtbike racers I know like them. They don't clog in extremely dustly environments because they just past the dirt through.
Which is better for a mustang, cold air intake or something like a K&N air filter?
I actually have a cold air intake on my 2000 V6 mustang but I wanted to know if a performance air filter like a K&N or something would be better. Also, if I eventually got a supercharger, how does that work with cold air intake? Does it come with something or will it work with what you have?
i have a 95 stang with a cold air intake and a K&N filter on it, the nice thing about K&N filters is that they can be washed and reused, i race dirttrack in a streetstock class and asa latemodels and i use K&N filters on both cars, they work fantastic as long as you oil them after you wash them they should last for a long time, as far as the super charger goes i think you can use your cold airintake, because if i am not mistaken most kits come with it
