Scion Tc With an K&N cold air intake system. does it make any woshing noise when accelerating on
I had a K&N cold air intake system on my Toyota tundra and it made the cool noise when you accelerate at the higher RPS. I am curious if anyone has it and knows if it does make any sound?
Got the K&N Kit on both my 06 Xb and my 07 Tc. They definately let a few people in traffic know you are there when you open the throttle!
As for the joe that told you about getting the exhaust done??
Yeah, if you like the sound of a Constipated Bumble Bee, and the attention of your local Law Enforcement!
The Tc that I own is one of the TRD Supercharged ones. Its pretty nice, but stuck with the stock exhaust. I'm not one for drawing unwanted attention to my ride. Just prefer the sudden whoosh and I'm Gone!

Should i get a K&N Cold air intake for my truck?
I have a 96 Dodge ram with flowmasters and just bought some new JBA shorty headers should i get the K&N cold air intake?
I own a 1996 Dodge Dodge Ram with the 360 engine. I 've used the K&N filter for many years and did get an extra mile on the mileage. They also last forever as long as you clean and oil per the instruction.
With the mods your making you don't have to worry about over heating or changing spark plugs.
The 360 engine came with high flow exhaust manifolds and sequential multiport fuel injection. Didn't make the truck with a carbuerator.
what should i get the K&N air intake or the K&N cold air intake?
hi im trying to choose from these two intakes and they are both 57 series, 2nd generation. im not sure if there the same but one says cold air intake and the other one doesnt. need help?
Cool Air intakes give a nice suction sound to your engine under acceleration. If it is just a ram intake that would not be the best option. Because you won't notice the results as much and generally you do not get as much power gains as you would cool air.
