Know about Club Med Ixtapa?
Any idea of what it will be like after the renovation? Photos? How is it know------activities, pool, beach, teens club (for our 11 year olds---by when we travel), etc. Any NON-STOP Flights from the New York area----or any WITHOUT a LONG stopover somewhere? Which airlines do this?
I went there last summer before it was renovated but even then i thought it was GREAT. all the employees (GO's) are really nice and helpful. There are tons of activites for kids to do, and i higly recommend the trapeze! The beach is beautiful, nice big pool, good drinks, other great sports! I highly recommend it :)
has anyone been to club med ixtapa? would you recommend it?

I have been to Ixtapa but I did not stayed at thet hotel. I stayed at the Barceló and it is a great hotel for mailies it has a lot of activities and fun things to do, I don´t remember exactly but the price is not to high. But you can serach in google or yahoo: Barceló hotel at Ixtapa.

Which Club Med should we stay at in the Caribbean/Mexico?
Family of 4-----2 adults, 2 11 year olds. Something contemporary (not too old---new looking) and luxurious (we know that Club Meds aren't too fancy, but something nice). Plenty of activities (and some excursions)----we are active. We went to Club Med Cancun and LOVED IT!!!!! Ixtapa? Caravelle? Punta Cana?
