Randy Lerner wants to buy Villa from Valencia and Ashton from West Ham to form the Ashton Villa strike-force...He also wanted Bentley from Blackburn....As a Chauffeur for the Bentley he rides around Brum in! Unfortunately Bents went off to Spurs...Partly to be near his mates, but also 'cause he has'nt got a driving licence..You heard it here first,so it must be true...Boing....Time for bed sed Zeb...
What's the worst football rumour you have heard?
Obviously it's funny season in the paper's with clubs being linked with copius amounts of players with very little or no truth in them. Anyway, what do you think was the worst ever rumour?
For me it was Paul Mcstay being linked with a move from Celtic to Rangers in the mid-90's. This was an exclusive by the Sun (spit) and even made the front page. So far this window it has to be the Christiano Ronaldo to Rangers which although was not in the papers, is all over the internet.
